Toronto Urban Roots Festival might be taking place a little bit later than usual this calendar year, but it hasn't stopped TURF organizers from putting together a promising weekend of musical performances.

Following the initial lineup, a second wave of artists have been added to the bill. Ron Sexsmith, Northcote, Royal Canoe, Grand Analog, the River & the Road, and Union Duke have been confirmed to perform.

They join a lineup of 46 other performers, including Of Monsters and Men, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Wilco, the Avett Brothers, Neko Case, UB40, Cake, Lord Huron, Desaparecidos, Deerhunter, and Built to Spill.

The three-day, three-stage event takes place from September 18 to 20 at Toronto's Fort York, with additional shows being hosted at Lee's Palace and the Horseshoe Tavern between September 17 and 21, as part of the fest's Club Bonus Series.
