Julian Casablancas + the Voidz released their album Tyranny last year, and they're still working hard on promoting it. Having recently released an epic-length music video for "Human Sadness," the Strokes singer and his band have now expanded their tour schedule all the way into the fall.
This month, the band will play a few shows across Europe. Then, after a couple of months off, they will hit the road in North America. For this so-called "Immaculate Powerlords Tour," Casablancas and company will start off on the West Coast before making their way east. The trek includes a number of U.S. shows, plus two Canadian stops: September 19 in Vancouver and October 9 in Toronto.
All told, the North American schedule includes 11 shows in six weeks, meaning that there are a fair amount of gaps (including one break of about two and a half weeks). See the itinerary below or check it out in the concert poster above.
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday (June 5) at noon local time.
