Julian Casablancas's band the Voidz have just released their first new single in two years. "Prophecy of the Dragon" is an '80s-inspired hard rock song co-produced by Ivan Wayman, Justin Raisen and Sadpony (a.k.a. Jeremiah Raisen).
The Voidz's last album Virtue was released in 2018. They also released two singles in 2019, "Did My Best" and "The Eternal Tao," co-produced by Mac DeMarco and Kirin J Callinan. Voidz will be playing select shows in Europe this summer and a short residency in San Francisco next month.
It has yet to be seen whether more new music from Voidz is on the horizon, but in the meantime, listen to "Prophecy of the Dragon" below.
