As previously reported, White Lung guitarist Kenneth William has been getting his feet wet in the remix scene. After previously putting a twist on a Chromatics song, he's now glazing Frank Ocean's gentle cover of the Isley Brother's "At Your Best (You Are Love)" with a thick and syrupy coat of synths.
Ocean's attempt at the classic soul track featured an intimate arrangement of electric piano and fluttering, falsetto cries. William's neon track-lighting, meanwhile, illuminates the piece with echoing 88's, a busy 808-style drum machine beat, chopped and screwed vocals and lip-gloss shiny synth melodies.
