Indie folk superstar Father John Misty is getting some serious daps for his sophomore LP I Love You, Honeybear. Rather than play his own music, however, he recently took the opportunity to cover Leonard Cohen on George Stroumboulopoulos' The Strombo Show.
No stranger to Cohen covers (he recently tried out "I'm Your Man" in a live setting), the project's mastermind Josh Tillman performed an acoustic rendition of the Songs from a Room standout "Bird on the Wire." Set up in Strombo's living room, with the Canadian broadcasting icon bobbing his head, Tillman belts out the song.
