Zeds Dead Detail 'Northern Lights,' Premiere "Stardust" Single with Twin Shadow

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 29, 2016

Following months of teasing, Canadian EDM duo Zeds Dead have now offered up all of the details behind their forthcoming debut album. Confirmed to include appearances from the likes of Twin Shadow, Diplo, Pusha T and Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, the band's Northern Lights officially arrives October 14 through their own Deadbeats imprint.

Zeds Dead had previously promised to issue their debut album this month, but the record was apparently met with a few delays. To make up for the lost time, they're now streaming a sparkling, four-on-the-floor slammer called "Stardust" that features vocals from Twin Shadow's George Lewis Jr. The musician also shows up on an album track called "Loneliness." You can hear "Stardust" at the bottom of the page.

As previously reported, Northern Lights also has Zeds Dead working alongside rapper Pusha T and Weezer leader Rivers Cuomo. A tracklist reveal now explains that both men appear on a track called "Too Young."

Northern Lights also includes previously previewed Diplo collab "Blame," which also features contributions from Elliphant. Other acts involved with the LP include Canadian pop outfit Dragonette ("Neck and Neck"), rappers Jadakiss and Styles P ("DNA"), Atlas ("Lights Out") and more.

You'll find a full breakdown on the full-length, as well as a stream of opening number "Stardust," down below. There, you'll also find Zeds Dead's extensive tour schedule, which includes upcoming Canadian stops in London, Edmonton and Vancouver.
