Yukon Blonde Book 2011 Cross-Canada Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 26, 2010

You have to give Yukon Blonde credit for their hard work. The band have been touring hard behind their debut album, heading across the country with the Wooden Sky and booking 2011 dates with Plants and Animals. Once the Plants and Animals leg is over though, Yukon Blonde will continue on by themselves, playing a run of dates that will take them all the way to the East coast.

The band will join up with Plants and Animals in Vancouver on February 18, making their way to Vancouver Island and then east all the way out to Winnipeg, playing seven shows in total. After that, Yukon Blonde will play a ten-date headlining tour, wrapping up in Halifax on March 19.

This latest outing should help keep the momentum going for Yukon Blonde, who earned a long-list nomination for the Polaris Music Prize earlier this year. See the schedule below.
