Young Thug Releases New 'No, My Name Is JEFFERY' Mixtape with Gucci Mane, Migos, Wyclef Jean

As had been speculated this month, Young Thug has rebranded as JEFFERY for the purpose of his latest mixtape release, No, My Name Is JEFFERY. The project was issued today (August 26) at the stroke of midnight, and finds the Atlanta rapper/singer teaming up with artists including Wyclef Jean, Gucci Mane and members of Migos.

The new 10-song release was detailed by the rapper just ahead of dropping as an Apple Music exclusive. Over Instagram, it was revealed that song titles include the Rihanna-reflecting "RiRi," "Swizz Beatz," and the Gucci Mane-alluding "Guwop." It also has a cut called "Harambe," which is the name of the ape that was shot by officials at the Cincinnati Zoo earlier this year. JEFFERY noted in the post that he "named the songs after all my idols."

Interestingly, as you'll note via the tracklisting above and the Apple Music player below, a track called "Kanye West" with a guest spot from Wyclef Jean has apparently been renamed "Pop Man." To make things even more complicated, this is also the song that had surfaced as "Elton" last week before being re-uploaded to YouTube as "John."

You'll find all of JEFFERY's new mixtape below, along with a project trailer that suggests, despite how its being billed on Apple Music, that we really need to stop calling him "Young Thug."
