Drake might benefit from heeding the advice of that old proverb, "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil."

In what feels like an all-around bad business decision, the rapper just exposed to the internet that he might've been involved in the illegal activities that sent Young Thug and some of his YSL label-mates to jail last spring — but, people aren't buying it.

The news broke via a leaked snippet from Drake's highly-anticipated upcoming album For All the Dogs, which he maintains is coming soon after initially promising it would drop in mid-August.

American social media personality DJ Akademiks took to Instagram yesterday to share the brief snippet where Drake is heard rapping: "I should probably be in there with Thug and them."

Evidently, it didn't come across quite as tough as he probably thought it did when he recorded it, based on the comment section packed with laughing emojis.

"He ain't about that life and we all know that," wrote one commenter.

"Bro the type of guy to go to jail for not wearing his seatbelt," said another.

Another responded, "Bro closes the fridge door with his hips and says this."

Hopefully, Toronto's golden boy learned a valuable lesson from this — be yourself! (And, keep your leaks away from Akademiks.)
