Young Thug has been arrested in Georgia on five felony counts of violating the state's controlled substance act.

As XXL reports, documents from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office show that the rapper was booked yesterday (September 11) at about 2:25 p.m EDT.

An arrest warrant for Thug was issued yesterday, and last week it was revealed that the rapper was hit with eight felony charges, which included possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone and marijuana.

The charges stem from an arrest made over a year ago in Brookhaven, GA, when Thug was pulled over for having an illegally tinted window. Police then reportedly found 2.5 ounces of marijuana, $50,000 in cash and additional drugs inside the vehicle.

XXL reports that as a result of the warrant, Thug missed his opening performance slot last night's Denver date on J. Cole's "K.O.D. Tour."

Young Thug was also arrested last month on a felony gun charge in Los Angeles at a release party for his recent Slime Language compilation. Ahead of this week's arrest, he had been teasing a new album titled On the Rvn on social media.
