"Bad Time" is the debut track from Halifax, NS power pop quintet Writer's Strike, but the song and band have both been around for some time. The track originally made an appearance in demo form as "Bad Time/Worse Time" on YouTube back in 2008 when the group went by the name the First Aid Kit. But the emergence of a Swedish sisters duo also called First Aid Kit forced a name change and they were reborn as Writer's Strike in September.
Regardless, the group continue to craft some pretty damn catchy tunes and have their eye on recording a full-length in the coming months. Until then, this will have to tide us over.
