Festival season is on its way, and organizers for Ontario's Wolfe Island Music Festival have rolled out details behind this year's instalment, with the big news being that the Joel Plaskett Emergency will headline the event.
A press release explains that this year's fest runs August 9 and 10, and on top of Plaskett and his band, other high-profile Canadian acts appearing include Born Ruffians, Hannah Georgas, Bahamas, the Wooden Sky and Buck 65. Additional artists set to appear include Diana, Nick Ferrio and His Feelings, July Talk, AroarA, Matthew Barber, Justin Rutledge, Grey Kingdom, Two Hours Traffic, Wildlife, Folly and the Hunter, Leif Vollebekk, the Huaraches, AOK, and the Rhythm Haints.
As in the past, the event takes place on Wolfe Island, ON, the largest of the Thousand Islands, which is a quick ferry ride away from Kingston.
