A host of country music greats have come together on a new album honouring the work of late outlaw country singer-songwriter Billy Joe Shaver.
Live Forever: A Tribute to Billy Joe Shaver arrives November 11 — on what would have been the artist's 83rd birthday — via New West Records.
The 12-song tribute LP features covers of Shaver's work from the likes of Willie Nelson & Lucinda Williams, Miranda Lambert, Allison Russell, Steve Earle, Amanda Shires, Nathaniel Rateliff, George Strait, Edie Brickell, Margo Price & Joshua Hedley, Rodney Crowell, and Ryan Bingham and Nikki Lane.

Shaver, who had his songs recorded by the likes of Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson, passed away in 2020 after suffering a stroke. He was 81.
