Wiki and Your Old Droog Drop 'What Happened to Fire?' EP

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Feb 2, 2017

In posing the question What Happened to Fire?, it seems that Ratking spitter Wiki and Your Old Droog have found the answer in releasing a surprise joint EP.

Five tracks in length, What Happened to Fire? is available for free download here. The two rappers trade bars over rock 'n' soul chops from the likes of Black Milk, AraabMUZIK, Statik Selektah, !llmind, Tony Seltzer, and RTNC & Y.O.D.

A press release explained this about the EP

The project coincides with an art installation under the same name which ran in A Consensus Noise, a show that took place at Romero Gallery in late 2016. What Happened to Fire? was recorded at Wiki's Chinatown apartment as the installation was being formulated and displayed, and the art that accompanies the EP contains imagery from the gallery.

Take in the EP in its entirety below.

In related news, Your Old Droog's next album PACKS will be released on March 10 and includes features from Wiki, Edan, Danny Brown, Chris Crack and Heems.
