The Who Reschedule Toronto Show to Give Roger Daltrey Vocal Rest
The Who's Roger Daltrey has been experiencing some vocal problems lately, and he recently threatened to end a show due to his allergy to pot smoke. Now, the 71-year-old singer's ailing pipes have caused the band to reschedule some shows on their North American 50th anniversary tour.

A couple of gigs in the fall run have been bumped back to November in order to give Daltrey a little more downtime to rest his vocal cords. This includes the band's October 21 show in Toronto, which has been rescheduled for December 2.

The October 19 show in Toronto, on the other hand, will be going ahead as planned, meaning that the Who will be coming to Ontario capital on two separate occasions in less than two months.

The other Canadian gigs on the itinerary — Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg — are all scheduled to go ahead as planned in late September and early October.

Previously, the band postponed a few shows back in May due to Daltrey's swollen vocal cords. Those shows have now been rescheduled for December. In a statement about the tour, guitarist Pete Townshend said, "Roger has battled sometimes, not so much with his voice as with a muscle problem that may well go back to a car crash in Australia many years ago. Towards the end he got better and better. And happier. Good to see."

Peruse the updated tour schedule below. Some reports have suggested that this might be the group's goodbye trek.
