Toronto Urban Roots Festival is returning to Fort York Garrison Common from September 16 to 18 to close out the summer festival season, and organizers have revealed yet another round of performers.

Ween have been added in the festival's Saturday night headlining slot. It will mark the beloved alt-rock band's first live set in Canada since their 2012 breakup — which followed a disastrous Vancouver show that same year. The band have since patched things up for reunion shows, though, and TURF attendees will now get to see Ween back on stage this September.

Additionally, Modern Baseball will be following up their recent Toronto show with a set on the Friday night of TURF.

They join initially announced acts like Barenaked Ladies, Dropkick Murphys, Explosions in the Sky, Jake Bugg, Matthew Good, Lush, the Sheepdogs, the Hives, Lake Street Dive, Matt Andersen & the Bona Fide, Guided By Voices, Rheostatics, Matt Mays, Drive By Truckers, the Felice Brothers, Okkervil River, Corb Lund, the Mekons, Marlon Williams, Julien Baker, John Moreland, Skinny Lister, and Midnight Shines.

Other previously added performers include Jimmy Eat World, the New Pornographers, Whitehorse, Margo Price, Dwayne Gretzky (playing the Tragically Hip), the Sadies, Wild Child, the Deslondes, Simone Denny, Lee Harvey Osmond, the Belle Game, Modern Space and Julia Jacklin.
