TURF Expands 2016 Lineup with Jimmy Eat World, New Pornographers, Whitehorse

Toronto Urban Roots Festival is returning to Toronto's Fort York Garrison Common towards the end of festival season, and organizers have just revealed a second wave of performers.
 
Joining this year's bill are Jimmy Eat World, the New Pornographers, Whitehorse, Margo Price, Dwayne Gretzky (playing the Tragically Hip), the Sadies, Wild Child, the Deslondes, Simone Denny,  Lee Harvey Osmond, the Belle Game, Modern Space and Julia Jacklin.
 
They join a previously announced roster that includes Barenaked Ladies, Dropkick Murphys, Explosions in the Sky, Jake Bugg, Matthew Good, Lush, the Sheepdogs, the Hives, Lake Street Dive, Matt Andersen & the Bona Fide, Guided By Voices, Rheostatics, Matt Mays, Drive By Truckers, the Felice Brothers, Okkervil River, Corb Lund, the Mekons, Marlon Williams, Julien Baker, John Moreland, Skinny Lister and Midnight Shines.

More artists are still to be announced in the coming months.
 
The festival is slated to take place from September 16 to 18, and tickets are currently on sale. Find full ticketing options and festival information over at the official TURF website.
