Putting the context of the album’s title aside, and letting music speak for music’s sake, the Wednesday Night Heroes have surpassed all expectations with their sophomoric release Superiority Complex. The Wednesday Night Heroes emanate punk rock out of every orifice, and that’s evident with the absolutely rocking album opener "Music for the People.” Akin to a supercharged Stiff Little Fingers colliding with every old school hardcore influence imaginable, the Wednesday Night Heroes sound more potent than ever. Each aggressive and melodic track on Superiority Complex could easily be someone’s favourite song, or on a greatest hits package 20 years from now when the Wednesday Night Heroes are fat old bastards still persevering and ripping shit up.
