Tera Wray Static, widow of Static-X frontman Wayne Static, was found dead on Wednesday (January 13) of an apparent suicide. She was 33 years old.

A former adult film star, Tera Wray Static's death was confirmed by industry attorney Michael Fattorosi, who learned of his client's death from her roommate.

"I'm so sad today. My client & friend Tera Wray, former Pornstar and the widow of Wayne Static committed suicide yesterday," Fattorosi wrote on Twitter. "We were emailing back & forth on Tuesday. And today I got a call from her roommate letting me know what happened. Tera is once again with the love of her life, Wayne, & will be forever. May they both find peace together for all of eternity. Godspeed Tera."

A Facebook message from Fattorosi added: "She was one of the sweetest girls in the industry. It's sounds cliché but she had a lightness about her. Always happy always smiling..."

Tera Wray Static was born Tera Lents and had met Wayne Static during the 2007 Ozzfest. At the time, she had been modelling lingerie for Hustler, but she retired from the industry when she and Static were married in 2008.

An interview with the late Static-X frontman noted that they were inseparable, which likely led to tension and jealousy within the band. The nu-metal act broke up in 2013.

"Well, I wanted Tera on tour with me, so she was always with me," Static had told Gotham News. "She was with me during interviews too. We love each other. I wanna have her with me at all times. She came on stage and danced for a few songs and… I think Tony [Campos, former bassist] didn't like that. I think it pissed him off."

As previously reported, Static had passed away November 2014 after taking a fatal mixture of alcohol and prescription drugs ahead of a North American tour. He was 48 years old.
