This lineup seems to be plucked straight out of the progressive rock heavens: Primus were joined by members of Tool for a benefit concert at which they covered King Crimson, Led Zeppelin and more this week.

On Monday (April 17), Primus welcomed Tool drummer Danny Carey, bassist Justin Chancellor, and Queens of the Stone Age's Troy Van Leeuwen to the stage at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles as part of a benefit event for Canadian filmmaker Jimmy Hayward, a friend of Primus currently undergoing treatment for cancer.

Fan-shot footage and fan-compiled setlist data from the evening show the group of players teamed up to perform Tool's "Ænema," along with covers of King Crimson's "Thela Hun Ginjeet" and AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie" along with Primus faves like "My Name Is Mud" and "Here Come the Bastards."

Carey and Primus drummer Tim Alexander even got up to something of a drum battle in an extended solo section during their cover of Led Zeppelin instrumental "Moby Dick."
