Watch Paul McCartney, Beck and Taylor Hawkins Get Denied Entry into Tyga's Grammy Party

Although it was mostly a boring slog, there were plenty of interesting things that happened at last night's Grammy Awards. The wackiness apparently continued deep into the night, as some of rock music's most famous musicians were denied entry into rapper Tyga's after-party.

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, alt god turned adult contempo star Beck and singer Paul McCartney (also from some band called the Beatles) just wanted to get turnt together at Tyga's exclusive party, but they couldn't get past the door man.

TMZ was there to capture the moment, and the results are simply hilarious. McCartney is overheard saying, "How VIP do we have to get?" and, "Maybe we need to write another hit." It truly looks like he's about four-five seconds from wildin'.

Watch three of music's biggest performers look bewildered and disappointed on the street below.

UPDATE (2/17, 11:45 a.m.): Tyga appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night and tried to clear the air with Sir Paul and his party-hopping posse in a short segment. The rapper explained that he was merely paid to show up and perform, and that all angry tweets should be directed at the doorman. He goes on to say that if he'd known Macca was outside trying to get in, he would have brought the Beatle up on stage to perform with him. So maybe things did turn out for the best, after all.

See Tyga's Twitter response to the situation, and watch the lighthearted late-night clip below.
