Lorde had a big night in Toronto last night (June 18). Fresh off the release of her sophomore LP Melodrama, the New Zealand-born singer attended the MMVAs.
The annual award show shut down streets in downtown Toronto to hand out awards and host performances by homegrown Canadian and international talent alike — including Lorde herself.
She picked up the prize for International Artist of the Year and was on hand to accept the honour, then stuck around to perform hit singles "Green Light" and "Perfect Places" from her latest album.
