Jack White and Elton John have teamed up in a new video, capturing the creative process behind a collaborative track called "Two Fingers of Whiskey."

The clip comes from an upcoming PBS film titled The American Epic Sessions, which follows current day artists revisiting early recording processes. In this particular instance, John is given lyrics by his longtime collaborator Bernie Taupin and asked to improvise a new song.

John helms the piano, while White jumps in on guitar — and we get to see the pair's resulting song get recorded straight to vinyl.

The American Epic Sessions will air in four parts on PBS, starting June 6. An accompanying soundtrack will arrive in CD and digital formats on June 9 via Columbia, while a vinyl release will follow on Third Man on June 16. Other artists featured in the project include Nas, Beck, Steve Martin, Alabama Shakes and the late Merle Haggard.
