Watch Blink-182 Cover Oasis's "Wonderwall"

BY Josiah HughesPublished Aug 2, 2016

Blink-182 continue to spread their mall punk mojo across pop culture. Having already adopted Mumford & Sons as their own, they've now moved on to a different British band. Specifically, they've covered Oasis's timeless classic "Wonderwall."

In fairness, it wasn't a full band cover of the (What's the Story) Morning Glory? megahit. Instead, recent Blink recruit Matt Skiba offered a brief take on the tune during a sound check.

We'd certainly love to hear a full Blink-182 cover complete with some added Mark Hoppus dick jokes and gratuitous drum soloing from Travis Barker. We'd also love to hear some commentary from the Gallagher brothers about Blink's take on their classic track.

Until then, however, you can watch Matt Skiba hack away at the song below [via Alternative Nation].

I made Blink-182 play Wonderwall during soundcheck. I thought it was funny. @blink182 #wonderwall
