Warped Tour Offers Free Tickets to Parents

Good news if you're a parent concerned about your teen's safety, but also a fan of big budget metalcore bands like Miss May I and Asking Alexandria: the annual Vans Warped Tour festival is giving out free tickets to chaperones.

If you're over 28 and you are the parent or guardian of a child that's under 18, you can attend the annual mall-punk celebration for free. And don't worry, kids — your lame ass parents won't be killing your vibe while you push each other around during Black Veil Brides. Instead, parents will be encouraged to hang out in the parent tent, which will be stocked with magazines, movies and air conditioning.

As Warped founder Kevin Lyman told Billboard, another option would be the comedy tent, which features performances from Beth Stelling, Chase Bernstein, Dave Ross, Eli Olsberg, Eric Schwartz, Grant Cotter, Sammy Obeid and Sandy Danto.

For the full Warped Tour lineup, visit the event's page here. And sorry, haters, but Riff Raff is still scheduled to perform.

Parents, kick back in the parent tent when the Warped Tour blasts through North America this summer. The itinerary includes a single Canadian stop, invading Toronto on July 17.
