Warpaint have announced a new album called Radiate Like This, their first in six years. The record is arriving May 6 on Virgin. Alongside the album announcement, the band has also shared new song "Champion."
In a press release, the band said the song is about "being a champion to oneself and for others. We are all in this together, life is too short not to strive for excellence in all that we do."
Radiate Like This is the follow-up to 2016's Heads Up. The band have kept relatively busy in the years since their last record, releasing a couple of one-off singles and covering Gang of Four on a tribute album. They also had a song featured on the soundtrack for Floria Sigismondi's The Turning. Stella Mozgawa has also played drums on a number of big-name records recently, appearing on Cate Le Bon's Pompeii and Courtney Barnett's Things Take Time, Take Time.
