Voxtrot Reunite, Announce North American Tour and New Vinyl Releases

"For the first time since our dissolution it seemed obvious that we should give this music another chance to fly"

After breaking up in 2010, Voxtrot have announced their return to action. Later this year, the Austin, TX, indie outfit will embark on a US tour, and will share early material and rarities with a pair of new releases.

Frontman Ramesh Srivastava shared of Voxtrot's return, "About a year ago, I had a dream where we were onstage and it was really positive. And there was such a strong and palpable feeling of love in my heart that when I woke up, it was still with me.

"I spent that morning perusing social media, watching videos of fans of all ages covering our songs and even seeing some Voxtrot tattoos. It occurred to me that the love I'd felt in the dream was the same force that was continuing to usher these songs into the hearts and minds of people years after we had split up ... For the first time since our dissolution it seemed obvious that we should give this music another chance to fly, and that it would be a joy — an act of love — to play these songs again at least one more time and let their celebratory and hopeful spirits run wild."

Voxtrot will rerelease their first two EPs — 2005's Raised By Wolves and 2006's Mothers, Sisters, Daughters & Wives — as a compilation titled Early Music. Meanwhile, a series of B-sides and rarities will see release with new compilation Cut from the Stone. Both comps feature audio remastered by Emily Lazar and Chris Allgood at the Lodge, and original photography by Annie Gunn.

You can find the tracklists for Early Music and Cut from the Stone below, along with Voxtrot's US tour itinerary. Further vinyl pre-order details can be found here.
