When she's not playing bass in Vivian Girls or singing and playing guitar in All Saints Day, Katy Goodman (aka Kickball Katy) apparently finds the time to write songs of her own. The garage pop busybody has just revealed a solo project called La Sera and has planned some releases for Hardly Art.

According to Hardly Art, "La Sera makes lush, dreamy songs of heartbreak, love and death," and the Seattle, WA label will release a seven-inch single of La Sera songs on November 16. That record will include the tracks "Never Come Around" and "Behind Your Eyes." "Never Come Around" will also be included on La Sera's debut full-length, which is expected in early 2011.

No audio samples are available from La Sera as of yet, but Goodman just started a MySpace page for the project here. She will also make her live debut at this year's CMJ in NYC, where she will join Woven Bones, Golden Triangle and others at the Hardly Art showcase on October 21.
