Women spinoff Viet Cong are reissuing Cassette on July 8 through Mexican Summer, and now they've shared the cut "Static Wall."
This song appeared on the original tape pressing of the EP last year. Despite the distorted implications of the title, it's actually a bright garage-folk jangler, as perky acoustic strums are overlaid with electric textures, a few synth splish-splashes and reverb-blurred melodies.
