Victoria, BC's Phillips Brewing and Malting Co. has announced the lineup for its returning Phillips Backyard concert series, which will take the form of three separate two-day weekend festivals in 2022.
The first event, dubbed GLITTERBOMBER, will take place in the backyard from May 14 to 15, with performances by Future Islands, Bryce Vine, Durand Jones and the Indications, the Zolas, Begonia, Astrocolor, Murge's Golden Era of Hip Hop and more.
Weekend two (TILT!) runs July 9 to 10, and will see performances by the Beaches and Half Moon Run, Current Swell, Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Hotel Mira, Fleece, Old Soul Rebel, Born Reckless, Juice, DJ Boitano and Witch Prophet, among others.
The final weekend of programming, IMPLOSION EXPLOSION, will take place August 13 and 14, with sets by St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Charlotte Day Wilson, Sampa the Great, Andy Shauf, Carmanah, Zella Day, Bankes Brothers and more.
Tickets for the concert series go on sale this Friday (March 4) at 10 a.m. PT, with passes being sold in single-day, weekend and "6-pack" (full festival access) increments. See the event website for further details.
