While Jeff Cancade has made a name for himself in the Vancouver music scene as Devours, he's now branching out with a new project. Making for a change of pace, Cancade is introducing us to the Golden Age of Wrestling.

Called Tombstone Piledriver, the project's debut album will arrive on May 8 via Inky Records. As Cancade explains, he's created a whole new genre for the Golden Age of Wrestling that he's calling "glambient."

"The Golden Age of Wrestling combines elements of ambient music, Hollywood soundtracks, chamber singing, and the sounds of classic Nintendo games," Cancade says. "I created a genre for it — called 'glambient' — and the project serves as a homage to the music that I made in my early teens."

For a taste of what's in store, you can watch the new video for the album track "I Know What You Did Next Summer." The clip was assembled by Vancouver visual artist Medusa Wyatt, with the song itself embracing some heart-tugging Twin Peaks vibes in the best way possible.
