Vancouver electro-pop songwriter des hume has been building up to the release of his forthcoming debut album bub, and now he's launched a new singles series called TRANSMISSION. The first instalment, aptly titled TRANSMISSION 1, is available to stream now ahead of its official release on Friday (September 13).
This double A-side features the new tunes "Crush" and "SIN." In an announcement, des hume explained that the funk-tinged "Crush" was inspired by going on a single date with someone who became "erratic and obsessive," while the AutoTune-drenched "SIN" touches on the shallowness of online dating.
