Saskatoon thrashers Untimely Demise impressed Exclaim! in 2010 with their City of Steel, and again last year with the Sonic Unyon reissue of their disc. At the time, we praised it for its "whiplash-worthy beats," and the band will keep repping the set this spring on a North American tour.
Come late March, Untimely Demise will kick off a lengthy journey that will see them scour through the Prairies over to the West Coast before heading down south to the U.S. Canadian stops include Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, and you can check the full tour schedule below.
If you missed out on City of Steel either as a self-released CD in 2010 or last year's Sonic Unyon re-release, the band will offer you yet another chance to grab the tunes when the record is pressed on vinyl next month. Sonic Unyon is teaming up with War on Music to deliver the wax platter on March 13. The record will be pressed in a limited run of 1,000 and feature the bonus track "My Tragedy," which originally appeared on Untimely Demise's Full Speed Metal EP in 2009.
