Ty Dolla $ign Reveals Release Date and Cover Art for 'Free TC'

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 10, 2015

We've been hearing about Ty Dolla $ign's Free TC album since last year, when it was expected to land in early 2015. While its arrival has turned out to be a lot later than we expected, the record now finally has a release date and album cover.

On Twitter, Ty posted the above artwork and wrote simply, "November 13." Assuming that there aren't any delays, that means we have a little more than two months to wait until it arrives.

Free TC is named after Ty's brother, who has been locked up. Previous reports have indicated that it will feature Kendrick Lamar, R. Kelly, Wiz Khalifa, Diplo, Dj Dali, YG and Jagged Edge. Ty has also talked about his productive recording sessions with Kanye West, and there's no indication whether any of that will appear on the LP. A single with Fetty Wap is expected out tomorrow (September 11).

Ty has released a string of singles throughout the past year including the Diplo-produced "Stand For," the Charli XCX/Tinashe-featuring "Drop That Kitty," the Kendrick-boosted "L.A.," the Future/Rae Sremmurd-assisted "Blasé" and more. It remains to be which which of these songs end up on the Free TC tracklist
