Riding high on his excellent "Stand For" single and video, rising rap/R&B star Ty Dolla $ign has shared some more details about his long-awaited debut album. So far, we've known that Free TC was set to arrive early next year. Now, in a new interview with Rap-Up, the artist shared some details about the release.

The Taylor Gang-signed performer said that Free TC will arrive early in 2015, with a tentative date in March or April.

Further, he explained that the album's named for his brother, who's currently incarcerated. "It's for a purpose," he said in the interview. "He's locked up for something that he didn't do. It's many people out here that get injustice, as you've seen Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, everything that's happening on the news right now. It has a purpose. It's gonna be the biggest album of 2015."

In addition to Diplo and DJ Dahi, who produced "Stand For," Free TC will include guest spots from YG, Jagged Edge, Wiz Khalifa, R. Kelly and Kendrick Lamar.

Regarding the R. Kelly song, Ty said, "It's definitely a jam and I can't wait to see what it does out here in these streets." As for the Kendrick team-up, he said, "It's like an anthem for L.A. It's gonna be crazy. Kendrick is the homie and I hope I can get on his new project."
