Tricky has gathered members of IDLES, Maxïmo Park and more for a new collaborative album as Lonely Guest. The 10-song, self-titled effort arrives October 22 through the trip-hop innovator's False Idols label.
The debut album from Lonely Guest was conceived after Tricky was forced to cancel tour plans behind last year's solo LP Fall to Pieces.
Across the album's 10 songs, Tricky lends production to the songwriting of IDLES' Joe Talbot, Maxïmo Park's Paul Smith, the late Lee "Scratch" Perry, Murkage Dave, Kway, Oh Land, Rina Mushonga, Breanna Barbara and recurring collaborator Marta.
New song "On a Move" arrives alongside today's announcement. You can hear UK upstart Kway pair vocals with minimal production below, where you'll also find the previously shared "Pre War Tension" with Talbot and Marta.
Before 2020 was out, Tricky also released Fall to Pieces companion EP Doorway, and appeared on an album from the Avalanches.
