Now in its seventh year, Toronto's annual X Avant New Music Festival has announced the lineup for its 2012 edition. The festival, which takes place at the Music Gallery, will run from October 12 to 21.
Led by artist-in-residence and keynote speaker Bob Ostertag, the festival also includes performances from Jean-Francois Laporte, JP Carter, Andy Haas, Sandro Perri, Shigeto, Pon de Replay, Nick Storring and many others.
This year's edition is the first to be programmed by artistic director David Dacks (who, for the purposes of full disclosure, is also an Exclaim! contributor).
