Exclaim! Class Of alum Jaguar Sun — the lush dream pop project of Toronto's Chris Minielly — has released a new single entitled "Boris," which arrives alongside a music video featuring a very floofy dog.
The track arrives today via Born Losers, following Jaguar Sun's sophomore full-length, 2022's All We've Ever Known, as well as an Audiotree Live session from earlier this year.
While any Jaguar Sun offering could technically be considered a creature feature, "Boris" really is about the eponymous canine cutie, who is likewise a staple on Minielly's Instagram.
With a warm flush of synths and soft, jangly guitar, the prismatic single is a wholesome ode to the musician's relationship with his pooch. If we can't cuddle with Boris ourselves, this is the next best thing.
