Though the reality is that we often spend entire nights scrolling through its seemingly endless menu, the Netflix model is one that theoretically works. Now, it's been applied to the world of live music via a new app called Jukely.
As Blog TO reports, the American app has just launched in Toronto, and allows users to attend unlimited concerts for $25 per month.
Naturally, they have to be shows that are listed on Jukely, but the site's offering some half-decent listings at the moment, including shows from ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, Sufjan Stevens, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Acid Mothers Temple and many others.
In order to attend a show, you simply sign up two days in advance via the Jukely app and your name is added to the guestlist.
While it sometimes feels so good to cancel plans at the last moment and stay home with real Netflix, the Jukely app doesn't allow for that. If you don't check in to a show you signed up for, you'll be banned from the app for 24 hours.
