Torero Plot Tour of Eastern Canada, Premiere "Canyon" Video

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 29, 2017

Rootsy Toronto rockers Torero delivered their self-titled album back in 2015, and while they're hard at work on the follow-up, the band are giving their first record another push with a string of Canadian tour dates and a brand new music video.

The group will start out east with a show in Halifax on April 18, before heading west through Moncton, St. Andrews, Fredericton and Saint John. They'll return home for a final show in Toronto on April 25. They're joined on the bill by Hypochondriacs, and you can see the full list of upcoming dates listed below and get updates at the bands' joint tour Facebook page.

Ahead of their trek out east, Torero have unveiled a new clip for "Canyon." The track appeared on the aforementioned Torero, and its accompanying video tells a story of a vengeful outlaw in the desert.

"When her partner and her mystic guitar case are stolen in the night, the Woman with No Name heads out through the valley to track down the vile perpetrators and bring them swiftly to justice," the band tell Exclaim! "But vengeance doesn't come without its own costs."

Watch the deadly desert tale unfold in the Ryan Thompson-directed video below.
