Lenny Bull will release her debut EP Sharp Teeth later this week, but before it officially arrives, Exclaim! is giving you a listen to it in its entirety.
The five-song set marks Bull's first solo offering, after years of fronting Toronto-based roots outfit Torero. The EP was recorded at Baldwin Street Sound with producer Aaron Goldstein.
The tracks are tinged with a retro rock'n'roll vibe, and they capture what Bull calls "vignettes of 'making it' in the big city."
She elaborates, declaring the songs to be "a reminder to be bold, strong and unapologetic."
