Sure, a picture's worth a thousand words, but the story behind a photo can really take it to a whole new artistic level — and since Tommy Lee's (most recent) NSFW selfie has already been turned into art, it's about time the Mötley Crüe drummer bequeathed the narrative of the nude upon us.
We may have already gotten full-frontal, but we didn't have the full story. Mercifully, we now have both: at the band's co-headlining tour stop with Def Leppard in San Antonio, TX, last night (August 21), Lee wove the audience the tale of the penis portrait.
"Well, I dunno, a couple of weeks ago, we had like a two-week break off the tour, and I went on a motherfucking bender, bro — a bender," the musician said, repeating himself for emphasis and adding some flailing arms and (mimed?) stumbling. "I got fucking sideways as fuck and got naked and posted pictures of my dick."
"And usually, I mean, I'm a titty man, so I like to see titties," Lee continued with such gravitas that you'd be hard-pressed not to believe him. "But tonight, it's equal-opportunity night; tonight, I wanna see everyone's dick. C'mon boys, pull your shit out. Pull your fucking junk out, let's go!" Go off I guess?
Much like how nobody as for the dick pic, nobody asked for this — but a self-imposed precedent was set, and context is always key.
