Tom Petty's Mudcrutch Gets Anthony Hopkins and Sean Penn for "I Forgive It All" Video
Before he was accompanied by the Heartbreakers, Tom Petty played with Mudcrutch back in the '70s. The band was revived and released their debut album in 2008, and the follow-up finally arrived earlier this year with the aptly titled Mudcrutch 2.

Now, that album's "I Forgive It All" has been given the video treatment, and it finds Petty pulling some strings to cast a Hollywood heavyweight in the clip's lead role. Anthony Hopkins stars as an elderly gentleman who dredges up the past with a visit to his hometown.

The dramatic black-and-white video was directed by Sean Penn and Sam Bayer. Watch it below.
