Rita Wilson has shared a new song chronicling her love of Bob Dylan. Titled "I Want to Kiss Bob Dylan," the track arrives alongside a Bia Jurema-directed video.
The video sees Wilson, who is married to actor Tom Hanks, and four other performers, dancing and singing along to her new single at their respective homes. The clip also prominently features a signature jacket created by designer L.A. Rox, which serves as a "representation of our inner artist, the cloak we don as we create, as we imagine a new song, or painting, or dance, or book."
"I wanna kiss Bob Dylan / To see what it would be like," Wilson sings on the track. "Would his kisses be long like his six-minute songs on Time Out of Mind?"
Written and recorded in quarantine, Wilson explained, "The stream of consciousness hit me while initially writing the song, I went so deep into a fantasy of what Bob Dylan might be like, and that no matter who you are, your imagination can expand into being that person."
Wilson has also released a companion playlist to accompany her new song. Featuring "I Want to Kiss Bob Dylan," as well as Dylan's own "Make You Feel My Love," "Just Like a Woman," "Tangled Up in Blue" and more, "Rita's Romantic Bob Dylan Records" is available to stream below, where you can also watch her new video.
So far, Dylan and Hanks have yet to respond publicly to the track.
