Way back in 2008, Tokyo Police Club's Graham Wright released an EP titled The Lakes of Alberta. Now, he's preparing to release a sequel, as he's shared a single from the forthcoming The Lakes of Alberta (Part Two).

"Canmore Hotel #2" is the lead single from the EP. The single is out now, and the rest of the EP follows on March 28 through Wright's own Ray Cat Records.

Wright's TPC bandmate Dave Monks plays bass on all tracks, while Adam Hindle plays drums. Tom Power plays banjo on "Canmore Hotel #2." Jesse Turnbull recorded and mixed The Lakes of Alberta (Part Two), with mastering by Dan Weston. The songs were captured live off the floor with little rehearsal, as a way to recapture the spontaneity of the original EP.

Hear "Canmore Hotel #2" below. It's a sequel to the song "Canmore Hotel," which appeared on the first The Lakes of Alberta EP.

Wright released the album The Cost of Doing Business in 2021. He and Monks interviewed one another about their solo albums.
