This year, Tokyo Police Club have had a slightly delayed celebration for their 2010 album Champ. They reissued the record, and now they've announced plans to play a few anniversary shows as well.

There are three shows, all at Lee's Palace in Toronto and taking place on October 21, 22 and 23. They will be low-capacity gigs to allow for social distancing, with Pkew Pkew Pkew serving as openers all three nights. The band haven't clarified if they will be playing the album front to back.

Tickets are available at Lee's Palace's website.

The band's Graham Wright spoke with Exclaim! about Champ earlier this year, saying, "It just sounds good as hell, man. Sonically speaking, it's exactly right. I think we recorded it at exactly the right moment — I can hear us moving from one state of being to another, right there in the songs, which is so exciting."
