After issuing the first instalment in the spring, Tokyo Police Club are now gearing up for the release of Melon Collie and the Infinite Radness (Part 2). Before it all drops on September 23, you can sample a new tune titled "My House" that the band worked on with former Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij.
The track, co-written and produced by Rostam, is big on pop-crunch guitar work, though a few synths sneak themselves into the mix as well. All told, the song kind of has an early, Blue Album-period Weezer feel to it. Lyrically, it inspects the things we think we do in private.
You'll find the EP's opening number streaming down below, while Melon Collie and the Infinite Radness (Part 2) arrives in full September 23 via Dine Alone Records. A tour with Born Ruffians and the Elwins kicks off a few days later, and you can see the show schedule over here.
