Though she dropped a teaser for a record titled Joyride in September 2015, Tinashe's sophomore LP has been endlessly delayed for over a year. That changes tonight, with the singer announcing that a new LP titled Nightride will be available at the stroke of midnight.
Taking to Instagram today (November 3), the artist revealed that the full-length would be arriving tonight, sharing the news alongside a strange silhouette image. While the lead-up to the record's release has been a lengthy one, Tinashe has remained active, embarking on a tour, in addition to releasing a number of singles and revamping Rihanna's "Sex With Me."
Some of Tinashe's more impatient listeners haven't reacted well to the name change, but the vocalist said it's anything but a half-baked release.
Tinashe delivered Aquarius back in 2014 and followed that release up with the Amethyst mixtape in March of last year. Upon the Joyride trailer's release, Rolling Stone reported that the record would feature production from Dev Hynes (a.k.a. Blood Orange), Max Martin, Dr. Luke and Boi-1da.
UPDATE (11/04, 1:20 a.m. EDT): You can now listen to all of Nightride below.
