Experimental UK unit Throbbing Gristle have enjoyed more than one run of success since originally forming back in 1976, and now co-founding member Cosey Fanni Tutti is ready to tell her own history in a new book.

Titled Art Sex Music, the autobiography will arrive on April 6 through Faber.

According to a press release, the upcoming book will detail the first four decades of Tutti's career, from her work as an artist in COUM Transmissions and the multiple incarnations of Throbbing Gristle, as well as more recent work alongside her husband and bandmate Chris Carter and Nik Void under the moniker Carter Tutti Void.

In addition to her work as a musician, it will also recount Tutti's time as a pornographic model and striptease artist, during which she "challenged assumptions about morality, pornography and art."
