In early coronavirus days, Disturbed's "Down with the Sickness" gained newfound popularity, surging 31 percent in digital sales between March 12 and 19 in 2020. Fans breathed new life into the 20-year-old song, which has taken on new meaning in the post-COVID era, inspiring plenty of covers ranging from funny to awful.

And while few people are able to sufficiently recreate frontman David Draiman's iconic opening "ooh-wah-ah-ah-ah," many have tried. Now, not only has someone has matched Draiman's staccato noise, they've actually improved on the track by being an extremely adorable feline.

Thanks to TikTok, Storky's operatic singing has been the subject of countless edits and memes, and now, a TikTok user named Jalen Amend has inspired a new use for her talents.

"I know I don't got a lot of followers," he said in a post, "but if someone could make that cat sound to 'Down with the Sickness' — that 'wah-ah-ah-ah' — that'd be great. Tag me in it." Ask and ye shall receive. Another user called @fly_wy responded, "I fuckin' like the way you think. Consider it done."

The resulting mashup, which is absolutely delightful (and has since been cosigned by Disturbed), can be heard below.
